Terms and Conditions

Prices include unlimited mileage, VAT, and insurance (C.D.W.) with an excess according to the table below:

• SCDW Excess Cover: Additional insurance can be taken to cover the excess charge, see table above.
• PAI: Personal Accident Insurance costs €3 per day and covers all passengers in the car.
• Additional Driver: Cost is €10.00 per rental (only one additional driver is charged).
• Baby Seats: Baby, booster and cot seats are available at €15.00 per rental.
• GPS: Available for €5 per day up to a max. €35 per rental.
• Airport Tax: Cost €10 per rental. Further supplement of €15 for services between 21:00 and 07:00
• Transfer to Villa: €25 up to 4 pax, €35 up to 8 pax (for Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo area).
• Crossing border: Prior authorisation required. Costs €15.
• Others: Delivery or returning the car outside the company depots are subject to confirmation.

A22 Motorway Tolls

In accordance with law decree 190/2013, transponders have been fitted to all our fleet. These will monitor all journeys made by clients on the Portuguese motorways. Use of the device will cost €6 per rental, to which will be added the value of the tolls incurred by the client. For information, crossing the following toll points will cost as follows:

Class 1 vehicles includes most standard sized cars. Class 2 is for large SUV type cars.

For local travel to and from the airport and within the Loulé and Faro areas, it should not be necessary to use any motorways and these charges can be easily avoided.

Transfer from Faro Airport

Why not get your holiday off to a relaxing start by getting transferred to your accommodation and have your hire car delivered directly to your property. In cases where your arrival is before 4pm, which may mean your accommodation is not ready you'll be brought to our Villa Club Centre. From here you can start your holiday straight away and relax at our poolside bar. Once your accommodation is ready you'll be taken to your property where your car will be waiting.

Transfer Prices from Faro Airport (One Way)

• 1 to 4 people: £ 50
• 5 to 8 people: £ 70

Avoid squeezing all your luggage into a small rental car. Relax, with a Luxury Airport Transfer to your accommodation.

At the airport Nice Rent offer a friendly and personal service. You'll be met by one of their representatives who will escort you to your car and the paper work. If you have pre-paid and completed the reservation form you should spend no time at all with the check in procedure.

To find the Nice Rent representative:-

Nice Rent representatives will be situated in the arrivals hall displaying your name. Once you have completed the registration. Please note that we strongly recommend that you complete this form before your arrival. We can provide these via email. Once this process is completed you'll walk outside to carkpark P2 (see below) to collect your car. Please note that some other car hire companies do not provide this service and the walk is around 400 metres with your suitcases! On your return we suggest you drop off your passengers and suitcases at the departure area before returning your car to car-park 1.

Why book with ourselves?

Car hire companies no longer have the same financing arrangements for their car fleets. The result is this: smaller fleets, overbookings and shortages of cars in the summer.

As most bookings are made via websites without specific connections to the Algarve, you have a higher risk of your car not being available to you when you arrive. Of course you may think this risk is worth taking for a slightly lower price - but nevertheless clients are very disappointed when this happens.

By booking with us, you get these advantages:

• We are based in the Algarve. We have 'bricks and mortar' offices and real staff.
• If you do happen to have a problem, we can resolve it for you. If necessary, you can meet us face-to-face.
• We make sure that your booking has been properly handled and not just passed on to another internet 'consolidator'.
• We ensure that the cars are a maximum of two years' old and always seem like new.
• We make sure that your pick-up of the car goes smoothly.
• You do NOT have to travel on a bus to pick up your car!
